Quality Control Policy
Our QC Commitment
Quality control is central to our mission. We conduct multi-stage inspections to ensure products meet specifications and are defectfree. However, we cannot guarantee perfection; we commit to identifying and resolving issues before delivery.
QC Stages Stage
Stage 1: Factory Pre-Production Inspection
- Review of raw materials and component quality
- Verification of production equipment calibration
- Assessment of factory compliance with specifications
- Timeline: Before production begins
Stage 2: In-Process Inspection (for orders 1000+ units)
- Random sampling during production (5-10% of batch)
- Verification of dimensions, colors, and functionality
- Documentation of any issues for immediate correction
- Timeline: Midway through production
Stage 3: Final Inspection (100% for small orders, sampling for large orders)
- Complete review of all aspects: appearance, functionality, packaging
- Function testing for applicable products
- Packaging verification and label inspection
- Documentation and photographic evidence
- Timeline: Before shipment
Defect Classification
We classify defects to determine acceptance or rejection:
- Critical Defects: Functionality impaired; product unusable (zero tolerance)
- Major Defects: Significant cosmetic or performance issues (max 0.5% of batch)
- Minor Defects: Small cosmetic issues not affecting function (max 2% of batch)
Defective Unit Handling
When defects are identified:
- Factory is notified immediately for correction or replacement
- Defective units are replaced at factory’s cost
- If defects are widespread, entire batch may be rejected
- Client is informed with photographic evidence before shipment
- Shipment does not proceed until quality standards are met
QC Testing Services
We offer specialized testing at additional cost:
- Electrical/Safety Testing: For electronics and appliances
- Material Testing: Fabric durability, material composition
- Performance Testing: Stress testing, durability trials
- Third-Party Lab Testing: Organic certification, hazardous material screening
Clients must specify testing requirements in advance; quotes provided separately.
QC Reports & Documentation
For each order, clients receive:
- Detailed QC inspection report with photos
- Certification of compliance with specifications
- List of any defects found and remediation taken
- Final approval sign-off before shipment
Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL)
Our standard AQL is based on ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 standards:
- General Products: AQL 2.5 (2.5% defect rate acceptable)
- High-Precision Items: AQL 1.0 (1% defect rate acceptable)
- Premium/Luxury Items: AQL 0.65 or tighter (can be customized)
- Custom AQL standards can be negotiated per client specifications.
QC Limitations
QC cannot identify:
- Hidden internal defects (without destructive testing)
- Defects that appear only after extended use
- Issues caused by improper handling after shipment
- Specifications not clearly communicated
We recommend clients specify any critical performance parameters upfront.
